University College London (UCL) - Theoretical Physics MSci

I am currently in my fourth year of a Theoretical Physics MSci program at University College London (UCL). Over the past three years, I have maintained a strong academic record, achieving a First-Class average with an overall mark of 79%. My most recent year’s performance saw an average of 81.3%. Below are some of the key modules that align with my career aspirations in software development, data analysis, and computational physics:

  • Machine Learning for Domain Specialists: 88.80%
  • Practical Machine Learning for Physicists: 86.58%
  • Quantum Mechanics: 89.75%
  • Mathematical Methods for Theoretical Physics: 90.87%
  • Computational Physics: 74.04%
  • Computing for Mathematical Physics: 94.46%

These modules have equipped me with a robust foundation in both theoretical and computational physics, as well as practical experience in machine learning and programming.

About Me

I am a Theoretical Physics MSci student at UCL, with a strong focus on computational physics, machine learning, and quantitative analysis. My academic journey has allowed me to explore complex concepts like quantum mechanics and machine learning, while my hands-on projects have fueled my fascination with computational simulations and artificial intelligence.

In addition to academics, I've actively participated in Kaggle competitions like the AI Mathematical Olympiad and ISIC 2024 - Skin Cancer Detection, where I applied my skills in deep learning and data analysis.

Away from academics, I am an avid cyclist, having competed in the British Nationals for hill climbing. I recently placed 53rd out of 290, narrowly missing a top 50 spot (Hill Climb Schedule). I also hope to cycle from Milan to London, combining my love for travel and endurance challenges.

I am currently seeking full-time opportunities in quantitative analysis and machine learning, whether through graduate schemes or direct entry roles, where I can leverage my skills in computational physics and continue to grow in these cutting-edge fields.
